Intellectually disabled widow Granny Xiu lives in poverty, ostracized by her village for her bond with a stray yellow dog that everyone scorns. But this unassuming canine holds an extraordinary gift: the ability to detect evil buried deep beneath the soil. When local girls begin vanishing without a trace and police investigations hit dead ends, the dog uncovers a bloodstained doll from the mountains. As human traffickers move to silence them, the underestimated duo fights back—the dog's ferocious instincts and Granny's hidden determination colliding in a desperate chase. Their chaotic pursuit unwittingly exposes a human trafficking ring that's poisoned the village for thirty years. Under a blood-red moon, barking shatters the illusion of peace, proving true courage comes in unexpected forms.
