Lin Chuan, a residential security guard who rides a broken e-bike every day, is mocked by residents as "the most invisible doorman." Until one day, a little girl with pigtails holding a DNA report blocks him: "Daddy, I've been looking for you for three years!" He panics—three years ago, he was a genius antique appraiser on the run, hiding his identity to survive. The baby's arrival not only uncovers his "deadly past" but also attracts his pursuers. While protecting his cute daughter from danger and pretending to be a "useless guard" to hide his identity, Lin Chuan is forced into a double life. But when the little girl says, "I'm not afraid of the dark when Daddy holds me," he realizes: once he fought to save his life, now what he needs to guard is the light in his arms.
