Lin Xiaoman, owner of a late-night bookstore, shut herself away from the sun after losing her parents in a childhood fire. Her world changes when Chen Ye, a delivery guy in a neon-yellow uniform, stumbles into her life—bringing warm soy milk every morning, planting sunflowers outside her store, and even teaching her to watch the sunrise through a polarizing filter. Just as Xiaoman finds the courage to touch the sun, Chen Ye vanishes. Tracking him to a hospital, she learns this sun-like boy is the younger brother of the firefighter who saved her—and he’s using his last moments to help her fulfill the promise of embracing the sun.
