During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, veteran cook Lao Gen owned a shabby ancestral bowl with an unknown time-traveling power. When Japanese forces launched a large-scale mopping-up operation and the base camp ran short of supplies, Lao Gen tried his luck by putting stored dry food and medicine into the bowl.
