Youzi, a lively dessert shop owner, fights tooth and nail to protect her grandma's legacy, "Sponge Full", from Jiang Kaixin, a cold investor here to buy the neighborhood. She uses a "buy dessert, get a hug" campaign to attract customers—he secretly promotes her on Xiaohongshu. She stays up all night making taro balls and gets a fever—he squats outside the shop in a suit, handing her ginger tea. As they clash, Youzi notices Jiang always stares at her "heart candy" brooch, and Jiang always rushes to her rescue when she's in trouble. Until one day, Youzi finds a crumpled crayon drawing in his wallet: a fruit candy with a heart, with the words "Little Watermelon's candy, remember forever" on the back. Suddenly she remembers—ten years ago, a boy named "Big Orange" gave her a candy and said, "Eat this, you won't be afraid." And Jiang finally admits: the feisty girl in front of him is the "Little Watermelon" he's searched for a decade.
