Lin Xiaoman was in a car accident on the snowy night of her 27th birthday. When she woke up, she completely forgot Gu Jingshen, her boyfriend of seven years. When Gu Jingshen showed up with their couple’s bracelet, she only thought the man with red-rimmed eyes was “a bit familiar”. But Gu Jingshen didn’t mention the past; instead, he approached her as a “new neighbor”—hiding a secret he dared not share: Xiaoman’s amnesia wasn’t from the accident, but early-stage Alzheimer’s. He wanted to “fall in love with her again” before she forgot everything. Yet when Xiaoman gradually recalled fragmented memories, she found a diagnosis of advanced gastric cancer in Gu Jingshen’s suit pocket… The heavy snow buried old times, but how can love burn again amid forgetting and a countdown?
