Urban office worker Lin Wan had just had her savings cheated by her scumbag ex-husband when she accidentally bound to the "Treasure Guarding System"—tasked with protecting the ancient Spirit Jade from evil cultivators and forced to team up with Gu Ye, a ruffian yet handsome little immortal. Gu Ye is sarcastic and cheeky, but always carries her and runs when she's chased by monsters. While dealing with the system's weird missions (like wearing Hanfu to sell milk tea to lure monsters) and battling treasure-stealing villains, they go from mutual dislike to secret affection. But when the Spirit Jade awakens, Lin Wan discovers her "unlucky life" is actually a rebirth clue—she was a goddess guarding the Jade in her previous life, and Gu Ye was the "little milk dog" she died to protect? Hilarious bickering hides sweet romance, and the rebirth mystery unfolds on the counterattack journey. Watch how the office lady and the ruffian immortal outwit demons and guard the treasure together!
