In a drought-stricken famine, Lin Xiaoman's family is on the brink of starvation—Grandma hides the last bran cake for her, her little brother cries from hunger, gnawing his fingers, and her parents squat by the threshold, smoking silently. Just as she's about to dig for edible clay, her wrist burns, and a "Meat System" appears: Massage Grandma for 10 mins, get a catty of pork. Skeptical, she tries, and a warm piece of meat appears! But trouble comes: A neighbor sees her with meat and spreads rumors that they stole from the landlord. The village chief will investigate tomorrow. Xiaoman uses the system to feed her family—braised pork, smoked bacon—but has to lie to cover it up. Can she keep the secret and save her family?
