Lin Wan, a "senior Taoist" in seclusion for a century, is forced to use her immortal magic when her cousin seizes her ancestral home claiming she "has no heirs"—with a flip of her withered hand, broken beams reconnect and weeds turn to forests, scaring her cousin away. This scene is seen by Gu Zhao, the powerful "cold-faced prince" and the little beggar Lin Wan saved 300 years ago. The once tiny boy now protects her: he reclaims her home, chases her to "repay the favor", gives her thousand-year ginseng, blocks swords for her, and even declares publicly, "The one I want to marry is the world's greatest immortal." When Lin Wan lifts her seal to show her 16-year-old face, Gu Zhao smiles: "I always knew you were never a 'senior Taoist'." Sweetness in reversals, love in counterattacks—watch immortal magic slap villains and the little beggar grow into a towering tree to cherish her.
