Lin Wan, a modern book editor, accidentally travels into the xianxia novel she just wrote and is bound to a "Plot Review System"—she can only survive by fixing the broken world. The cold and abstinent male lead in the novel would have beaten her as an intruder according to the original plot, but Lin Wan uses modern editor's "crazy" methods to modify the plot: complaining about xianxia clichés to the hero, adding rambling lines to the poker-faced protagonist, and forcing sweet moments for the leads. Even more, she picks xianxia bugs based on review standards. Surprisingly, her craziness makes the boring world vivid. The hero is slowly amused by her, turning from bickering to mutual salvation. Lin Wan rises to become the chief plot reviewer of the novel, rewriting her own fate and the whole world's.
