A war-hero general, now confined to a wheelchair after devastating injuries, retreats to his countryside refuge—only to be publicly humiliated by his four aristocratic fiancées demanding to annul their engagements. By dawn, the families who scorned him will kneel before the underground warlord... while sensation slowly returns to his hidden legs.
