Su Ningshuang, a stunning widow and secret leader of a reclusive merchant clan, breaks into a quiet temple for a life-saving medicine—only to stumble upon Xuanji, a mysterious Buddhist son, bathing in moonlight. That cold, moonlit figure sparks her first desire: "I must have this man." But Xuanji, though dignified in his robes, is a former crown prince wanted by the court. He struggles to hide while being shaken by Su Ningshuang's passionate pursuit. Su Ningshuang, bold as she seems, carries the burden of her clan's massacre and faces enemies plotting against her as she chases love. When their "widow chasing the monk" farce spreads through the capital, their hidden identities unravel. Is this "forceful courtship" a key to breaking chains, or a thread leading to the abyss?
