Former top lawyer Lin Wan had her license revoked over a wrongful case and returned to her mountain hometown, heartbroken, to grow tea. But the moment she steps into the village, she sees developers with excavators tearing down the ancestral hall—the spiritual root of the whole village. The villagers cry and grab her sleeve: “Wanwan, you used to help migrant workers get their wages back. Can you save us?” Torn between the legal trauma she refuses to touch and the grandparents who raised her, Lin Wan touches the lawyer’s badge hidden in her drawer, finally grits her teeth and stands in front of the excavator—this time, she will fight to reclaim the “justice” she lost, for her dearest ones.
