In his previous life, Wang Boyuan watched helplessly as his childhood sweetheart Ling Siyu died in a "plot-kill" accident. Consumed by regret, he is reborn on the first day of his sophomore year of high school. He discovers the world is controlled by a "plot line"—Ling Siyu will be hit by a flower pot when falling on the playground, drift apart from him due to a misunderstanding, and get into a car accident before graduation—every node leads to her death. Wang Boyuan becomes a "plot bomb disposer," pre-empting dangers, resolving misunderstandings, and even competing with the invisible "plot force." Ling Siyu gradually notices his oddities, and as they guard each other, they rediscover the unspoken feelings from their previous life. When the final plot-kill node arrives, can he break fate and keep his childhood sweetheart safe?
